CEREC
Why are thousands of people world wide choosing the CEREC restorative technique for their dental needs?
Single Visit Dental Care
Most dental restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepared, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration put on your tooth. You make a second appointment for a couple of weeks later, get another injection, have the temporary pried off (if it hasn't fallen off already), and have a permanent restoration put on. Why go to the dentist a second time when you don't have to? With CEREC, the procedure is done in a single appointment, start to finish.
Soft, flexible Isoflex™ mouthpiece delivers quick, easy illumination, isolation, aspiration and retraction
Isolite delivers quick, easy reliable isolation with uninterrupted retraction and continuous aspiration of fluids and oral debris
The combination translates to quick, easy, reliable isolation and moisture control; with the patented Isolite mouthpiece you’ll get virtually uninterrupted access to the oral field – and faster, more comfortable procedures!
By inserting the soft, Isolite mouthpiece, immediate tongue and cheek retraction and protection are accomplished. The tongue is completely out of the way - no more fighting it throughout the procedure!
In addition, with the Isolite mouthpiece serving as a barrier, the throat is completely protected from inadvertent aspiration of dropped material.
With Isolite, patients don't have to strain to keep their mouth open the entire procedure. The built-in bite block allows the patient to comfortably rest their jaw while keeping their mouth open at all times.
Isolite is the only dental device that delivers illumination, aspiration and retraction all in one easy-to-use, time-saving tool that makes isolation easy and provides uninterrupted access to the patient.

Planmeca ProMax (Digital Diagnostics)

New era of dental imaging possibilities
|
|
The design and operating principles of the Planmeca ProMax maxillofacial X-ray unit are based on the latest scientific research and clinical insight of the requirements of today's maxillofacial radiology. Planmeca Promax combines several imaging modalities into one intelligent X-ray unit.
- Panoramic radiography for general diagnostics of the tooth arch and the jaw.
- Advanced panoramic radiography for specific diagnostics of the tooth arch, the jaw, maxillary sinuses and temporo-mandibular joints.
- Dental tomographic slices for detailed morphologic diagnostics of facial bones.
- Cephalometry for imaging of the skull.
The configuration of the unit can be tailored to meet with specific individual needs and new features and imaging modalities can easily be added at a later date.

Transtomography®
- new patented imaging program
|
|
Transtomography® is a new digital imaging system developed by Planmeca. Transtomography uses multiple sweep method whereas the linear tomography uses one sweep. Transtomography combines the translation movement with an oscillation movement where the center of the rotation moves over the region of intrest. The layer thickness can be adjusted like in film based linear tomography. Due to the developed imaging method, the image of the anatomies are truthful and information maximized.

The New J5 Myomonitor
The J5 Myomonitor is the latest in a succession of Myotronics products with a history of over thirty-five years of clinical effectiveness. It's known that cervical muscles play a significant role in head posture and consequently may impact occlusion. For years many dentists have stimulated these cervical muscles to relax them as part of the overall diagnosis and treatment process.
The J5 Myomonitor provides four patient stimulation channels, each left and right pair with its own controls. Now, with the ability to stimulate four muscle sites simultaneously, the J5 helps improve treatment efficacy while saving time for doctor and patient. Two channels may be turned off when not required.
It is the only instrument of its type that delivers true bilateral, simultaneous stimulation. It incorporates unique, fail-safe circuitry. A valuable tool in office procedures for occlusal adjustment and in bite registration, it is also useful in the treatment of some types of TMD and associated pain.
- Relax muscles dysfunction and establish a physiologic occlusion
- Take occlusal registrations
- Take denture impressions
- Treat TMD dysfunction and associated pain
- Relieve symptoms associated with muscle spasm
- Increase local blood circulation
- Increase mandibular range of motion

The MDI System consists of a miniature titanium implant that acts like the root of your tooth and a retaining fixture that is incorporated into the base of your denture, The head of the implant is shaped like a ball and the retaining fixture acts like a socket that contains a rubber O-ring. The O-ring snaps over the ball when the denture is seated and holds the denture at a predetermined leve of force. When seated, the denture gently rests on the gum tissue. The implant fixtures allow for micro-mobility while withstanding natural lifting forces
The standard insertion protocol for mini dental implants calls for four of them to be gently screwed into the front of a patient's lower jaw. This is a relatively painless procedure that can be performed by a general dentist, requiring only a mild anesthesia. The mini dental implants, which are approximately the size of wooden toothpicks, are placed about five millimeters apart in the patient's mandible. The patient's denture is then carefully adjusted by the dentist to allow it to snap onto the four mini implants. The result? A tight fitting, completely reliable system that allows a patient to speak and eat with confidence. The Mini Dental Implants are placed in about an hour's time. Because of the unique, minimally invasive procedure, the minute size of the implants, and the characteristic placement area, the typical Mini Dental Implant patient can enjoy a light meal an hour or so after having the mini implants placed. Further,a denture patient who has had his or her prosthesis stabilized with MDI can remove and replae the denture easily after a little practice, and can easily utilize good dental hygiene. All in all, the MDI is quite satisfying.
